Weldon Heart Community Hub, Ebbsfleet Green, Officially Handed Over

The building offers a flexible, welcoming space for residents to meet, work, and relax. People can grab a coffee, host meetings, run events, attend classes, or simply catch up with friends.

Sustainability was a priority throughout the design and construction. The pavilion is targeting BREEAM Outstanding certification for its environmental performance. It uses a cross-laminated timber (CLT) frame to reduce embodied carbon and create a natural, warm interior. Solar panels further improve energy efficiency and reduce long-term environmental impact.

Weldon Heart is the first of two community buildings being delivered on this site. The second, Weldon Wellbeing Pavilion, is scheduled for completion in April and will be fully operational by the end of May.
