Sustainability is a core part of how we plan and deliver every project — considered at feasibility stage, carried through design and procurement, and executed on site.

We work closely with client sustainability teams, consultants and design teams to deliver measurable carbon reduction, energy efficiency improvements and whole-life value across every scheme. Our approach covers embodied carbon, operational performance and material reuse, with a clear focus on practical outcomes rather than targets alone.

Where reuse is possible, we prioritise it. Where local supply chain appointments can reduce carbon and support local economies, we make them.

Every project Sinden delivers has an impact beyond the building. The communities around our sites, the people who live and work in the buildings we refurbish, the local businesses in our supply chain — all of them are part of how we think about our work.

Our dedicated Social Value Manager ensures that social value commitments are built into every project at pre-construction stage, tied to programme and procurement, and delivered consistently throughout.

We track and report outcomes on every project — apprenticeship hours, local employment, charitable contributions and community engagement — because we believe the measure of a good project is what it leaves behind as much as what it builds.
